Why not real trees?

Is it not better reduce the use of cars????
Arghh non, for that people should stop of consuming all these rubbish that we watch in TV everyday. Also trains should be more efficient, cities should be more friendly to cyclists etc etc..
Even planting real trees looks very complicated...


That is why I dont believe any of this silly publicity about climatic change, saying they are working hard.

This is always a case for careful consideration. Appropriate measures should be taken where and how they can be effective. For me, as you can see by my profile location, I do not need a wider road or any other modification for more economical transportation. As for all the talk and dreamy dreams put forth every day about what can be done and why these dreams never become realized can be explained very simply. Our governments are playing us and each other for fools. We all agree that climate change is altering wildlife around us and we want to do something about it. No matter what the cause, whether it is more heat, less heat, more water, less water Etc. Etc…., the answer is always funneled back to the mantra of ‘Global Warming’. Governments will never do anything about it until they get their hands on the public’s money and that is their ultimate goal. Rich governments want to tax the people and poor governments will receive more money from the rich governments. This entire game is staring us all in the face, while we fiddle about with each other coming up with more and more ideas they never intend to use.

It's not hard to see through really. They have talked a good game for the last few years and burdened us with environmental taxes yet, there are no fewer planes in the sky, you are just taxed more for using them. No fewer cars on the road, you just pay more tax to drive them and fuel them up. While this is going on we here have seen the government give permission for the construction of another runway at one of the major airports to increase capacity, and because of the recession, the car industry being subsidised to produce more new cars, and a scheme to subsidise drivers of older cars to scrap them & buy the new ones (with my taxes ).

If they really believe in what they are telling us, why do they not ban non essential flights, like holidays for instance? I think we know the answer too.

The only thing being done by the AGW crowd is creating a commodity out of thin air to be taxed and traded. The scary part is if it becomes law, so much money will be put into lobbying, it will be next to impossible to get rid of.

because

a) air travel only makes up arround 4% of anthrpogenic Co2 ( Power stations and construction are the main players)

b) because that kind of iron fist sanction isnt possible in a democratic state - its a total vote loser and the population at large would just vote for someone who promised to abolish the ban

and

c) because that kind of action cant be taken by one country alone.

Air travel was just an example, perhaps not a good one, of how politicians do not want to upset the economy , big businesses, or their own political careers, but at the same time trying to convince us that they care and want to be seen to be saving the planet.

is there any such thing as an essesial flight. surely people flying to copenhagen could have used a video coferencing system. food flown in is not necesary. What is left?
