Rise in pollution

The pollution has rised alarmingly in the city causing many problems,now the big question is what should we do to free the environment from pollution.

perhaps you could be a little more specific. Which pollutants have increased and in which cities?

Emissions of most local air pollutants in the UK are a fraction of what they were 30-40 years ago. Some pollutants have proved to be a little more stubborn (e.g. NOx) but I'm certainly not aware of any sustained increases in emissions. But I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Or are you only talking about CO2?
