I admire your restraint in not rising to the bait and agree it was the best course of action, although I bet it was hard!

While it's true that the American administration has had its head in the sand for the last 8 years I suspect that's all about to change - not overnight of course but I reckon things will start to improve come January. And I don't believe that the muppets in the White House are representative of America as a whole any more than the muppets in Westminster are representative of Britain. There is already a large and vocal green movement in the States and it's growing, so it's not all doom and gloom from across the pond.

Thanks for your feedback folk. I'm glad I didn't get stuck in and ranted. However, in the future I will be able to say that I was not of the, 'I did nothing' brigade and I'll be able to honestly tell my grandchildren that I tried.
