| | | Re: Vegetarianism and Global Warming Do we need 2 weeks abroad for an exotic holiday?Well it seems people do,2 cars ?why not have 3.
People have a choice they go to work they save there own money and they go on holiday thats what people do,Theres loads of things we cant do because the Government says so,They say its in our best interests or for the good of our health etc..How many lives have you got, ah thats right just the one.
if you wish to spend this precious little time you have on earth worrying about cow burping volumes then like the holidaying family with 3 cars thats your choice but i bet you dont live in a wigwam peddling a generator to power your pc
But Vandalism,Unemployment,Child abuse, We all see that everyday not forgetting immigration of course!!
ONE QUESTION.
If emmisions were reduced by 99% what would be the result ?
Please note, i dont eat red meat,i have one car,and i dont take foreign holidays plus i live on a hill so i dont care about rising sea levels.

| | | Re: Vegetarianism and Global Warming Its unfortunate for people who live in low lying areas living with the threat of flood.
But while the government allows developers to build on flood plains all over the UK then the problem is not going to go away.
Green taxes are not an answer to climate change, there are countries around the world that get virtually no rain so how come no de-salination plants have been built in those countries if you activly pump out sea water and clean it for human use then surely water levels would reduce eventually and people could use the cleaned water for crops, drinking, etc...BY the time its really serious it will be too late to do anything about it.

| | | Re: Vegetarianism and Global Warming There must always be a balance between animal kingdom and plant life. Whenever this balance will get disturb it can create natural calamities like global warming and all as not only the pollution is the reason behind the global warming but yes the disturbance in the plant and animal life can also lead to global warming. |
