World Environment Day

Today is World Environment Day, commemorated each year on 5 June, and acts as a vehicle for the United Nations to stimulate worldwide awareness of the environment and enhance political attention and action.

Anyone fancy making a New Environment Year resolution? Mine is to carry on working on this site and especially to build on a new environment section over the next year.

Mine is to finish developing my wildlife area of the garden. Have my education centre up and running properly by next easter at the latest. Also to get my idea for Childrens Wildlife Parties up and running.
Also to make the Kids (Childrens) section become as popular and well used as the main WAB site

Mine is finally stop just thinking and talking about and actually get involved with some voluntary work on one of my local nature reserves. BBOWT bought some extra land at Moor Copse Nature reserve in West Berkshire (after big a fundraising effort last year - it was mentioned on WAB and BBOWT done it!) and I'd like to get involved with turning the new land into a wildlife haven.

I think i might wedge a pretzel between butcheeks and see if i can catch a president of the usa to sign up to the kiyoto thingy- Stakes are high. failing that that if he could just blow up a few balloons would be a big help!
