| | | Save outdoor education centres Yet another penny-pinching attack on education - an extremely important part of education if you think that the broader environment should be at the centre of young peoples' upbringing: Save our outdoor education centres - YouTube |

| | | Re: Save outdoor education centres Last post went wrong as my computer did a strange turning off thing!
Should have said- Learning outdoors is essential. So many youngsters perform much better when they aren't confined to the constraints of the classroom situation. If anything, there should be more centres and reserves that offer education this way.

| | | Re: Save outdoor education centres Hi Paul, signed. One of our local reserves is next to an outdoor education center, sailing & kayaking. It is being sold off. Hoping that a buyer is found that keeps the facility & is sympathetic to the SSSI around it.

| | | Re: Save outdoor education centres Duly signed.
They're essential. I'm hoping to undertake an invertebrate survey for a fairly local Education Centre's study grounds as it's at-risk of their funding being withdrawn.
Hope this petition reaches the coveted c200,000 to force some kind of parliamentary debate or whatever process follows. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
