The petitions sponsor is Councillor Ray Ingram, presumably "toryray" who owns land next to the cricket ground and lives in harmony with the same rabbits.
I can only assume that the cricket pitch is being damaged or despoiled by the rabbits and that is the reason they are being controlled.
The Pests Act 1954 Part 1 makes interesting reading. |

What you are apparently seeking to do is prevent your neighbour from enjoying the benefit of their land because you do not agree with them controlling a common wild animal which they see as a nuisance.
As said above if you are worried about "your" rabbits being killed then put a fence up and stop them being a nuisance to your neighbour.

This land is a PUBLIC recreation ground, and the people that do the KILLING all wear HUNTING GEAR, never have I seen a hole dug in the wicket, not in 20 years. HOLE FILLING IS VERY SIMPLE!!!!!!!!
