| | | Continued illegal bird trapping Hi
although this is a Spanish petition, this illegal practice affects many of our own migrating birds. My brother works for SEO the Spanish equivalent of RSPB and a partner organisation in Birdlife International and they are keen to get the existing law enforced properly. The trapping of these birds is illegal but the authorities frequently turn a blind eye. The topic has come up before and will no doubt continue to do so.
Please go to http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/stop-parany-trapping to petition the EU commission and www.stopparany.es to the Spanish authorities.

| | | Re: Continued illegal bird trapping Signed and commented on - the law should be upheld - it is already illegal - its the law in the country that is failing to do its job - this is what needs addressing - get on a prosecute people - actively look for this senseless brutal killing which serves no useful purpose whatsoever.

| | | Re: Continued illegal bird trapping In France, Italy and Malta, and many other European countries, it is standard practice to shoot migrating songbirds for the pot. I am a field shooter; I have a good command of English. I cannot find words to describe my loathing for people who shoot songbirds to eat.
Ahem. Rant over, for now.
