Continued illegal bird trapping

although this is a Spanish petition, this illegal practice affects many of our own migrating birds. My brother works for SEO the Spanish equivalent of RSPB and a partner organisation in Birdlife International and they are keen to get the existing law enforced properly. The trapping of these birds is illegal but the authorities frequently turn a blind eye. The topic has come up before and will no doubt continue to do so.

Signed and commented on - the law should be upheld - it is already illegal - its the law in the country that is failing to do its job - this is what needs addressing - get on a prosecute people - actively look for this senseless brutal killing which serves no useful purpose whatsoever.

In France, Italy and Malta, and many other European countries, it is standard practice to shoot migrating songbirds for the pot. I am a field shooter; I have a good command of English. I cannot find words to describe my loathing for people who shoot songbirds to eat.

unnecessary cruelty is unbelievable. i have signed ect. my swifts never returned this summer after 10 years . this has got to stop now.i hope as many people as possible will sigh the petition .
