I don't understand are you leaving FB..was fb involved in the cruelty..
Sorry being a bit thick..
Yes the people involved should be prosecuted and sacked and cctv installed to keep the workers under surveillance wherever animals are involved like this there will always be bullies who think they can commit this type of act so they should be watched.
We have seen it in chickens in the Bernard Matthews farm to animals in science labs being beaten to the Elephant in the zoo..

Yep....The footage shows people what really goes on in Abattoirs. Not all i hasten to add, but without people watching what does go on how do we now this doesn't go on and on every day to animals destined for the food chain in other abattoirs all over the world.
I became a vegetarian MANY years ago after watching footage of transported animals being made to walk on broken legs into a slaughter houses from totally inadequate transporters. I have since seen many things in video footage that makes me despair and weep that so called 'human' beings can inflict such pain and suffering on living creatures.
I can guarantee that many farmers have had their own eyes opened over the years to the cruelty that goes on within these places and must dread the day they have to take their animals to market.
Over the years i've spoken to many farmers with only small amounts of livestock who dislike the current practice of having to send their animals to slaughter in this way. I've also heard many horror stories from an ex abattoir man who i now work with, he left after the last debacle of F&M outbreak and the people they employed to kill the livestock were more than cruel. I won't elaborate as it would give you nightmares
Some farmers would prefer it done the 'old way' where animals were killed on their own land and only the meat transported rather than the live animal being passed from pillar to post and tortured in many ways before they died.
Nothing changes and whilst money seems to be the only thing driving human beings on this planet...nothing will ever change.
More education for those who can stomach it..... Animal Aid: The 'Humane Slaughter' Myth
