Independent Forestry Panel Calls for Views

I know many people on WAB supported the campaign to Save Our Forests earlier this year when the government proposed selling off the Public Forest Estate.

An Independent Forestry Panel was set up to look at the future of public forests and at many aspects of forestry in England.

This Panel is now asking everyone interested in forests and woods to share their views and join in a public conversation. The Panel’s findings and advice will be presented in a final report in April 2012.

Please continue to support our precious woodlands by responding to this review. The 'call for views' period ends on July 31st.
