Just singed. It sure makes my blood boil, to know that we could be loosing some more prime habitat to development. Some 15yrs back the site that i have haunted for the past 25yrs or so, was going to be developed, 40ha of industrial estate was proposed. Then we found a little jewel, the Marsh frits. The site has now been classed as Abebargoed Grasslands SAC, and at times it has had the highest Marsh frit web count in Europe.

Hi,

So far we have about 100 in total on and off line, only a few thousand more to go. The main reasons its low is because im trying to get people to write in more than sign it, or do both.

That was a nice little gem to find that saved the reserve, do you have any I can plant on my site

That is brilliant news, well done.
It is supposed to be the utmost importance to reduce cars/roads etc and for a road to be going through a reserve

The media are very handy to help out these days

Had a meeting the other night with around 300 people, it went well! im just going to take some shots of the site in next day or so for publication.

We need 13 more sigs on the petition so if any of you could pass it around to get it up to 100 that would be great. I have not got over 100 on pen and paper so we are getting there!

We have managed to get a meeting with the guy who wants to put this road through the reserves. Hopefully we can sway him. We still planted 80 trees on the reserve last saturday so we will NOT be beaten!!!
