| |  Birds-Out of Africa BTO appeal
BTO ( British Trust for Ornithology) are running an appeal for support to try and find out why we have such massive downturns in population/migrants of 'our' birds which come to us 'out of africa'.
Even if you cant help with dosh, reporting sightings can also be very helpful.
Cuckoos down 37%, Swifts not seen much this year, martins, warblers . . . . the list goes on - there are complex reasons potentially and this research will be vital to try and sort it if possible.
All coming to us from Africa.
Crucial stuff.

I would like to share my sightings but i don't know how. I have a house martin above my window in light moor and i have seen swifts in dawley, telford

To submit sightings to the BTO Atlas, go to Bird Atlas home page. Atlas records will show the breeding distributions of our migrant birds. If you'd like more info about how to take part in BTO surveys, email info@bto.org
