| | | Re: Petition against mis-use of the Rodenator Why do some humans think it is perfectly acceptable to use things like this, talk about an advanced species, it's about time we used our knowledge and learned how to live with the wildlife around us. Signed of course

| | | Re: Petition against mis-use of the Rodenator And what would you suggest the humane alternative? Poisoning them so they die a slow agonizing death? Trap them so there guts get pushed out through there mouths when the trap snaps shut? Percussion is what kills the gophers, not lack of oxygen and being burned to death........ I would rather be hit in the head with a big hammer and killed instantly than poisoned or trapped and bleed to death. |

| | | Re: Petition against mis-use of the Rodenator Not too many gophers round here.....maybe they do work humanely on gophers. However, that does not mean they will do so on rabbits, and even if they did, it remains illegal to use them to kill anything in the UK.
Oh, and if your traps push guts out through mouths, then either it's an inhumane trap or you're setting it wrong!

| | | Re: Petition against mis-use of the Rodenator Here in the States, the Rodenator has become a very useful tool for farmers, ranchers, municipalities, golf courses, school districts and homeowners with the users efforts to control tunneling or burrowing pests. In university and government studies, there has been no discussion of "burned to death" or "oxygen deprivation" in the test results. Most likely the "cowboy pest controllers" operating within the UK are using the device against the importers instructions and purpose of what the Rodenator is designed to do, that being the collapse of habitat tunneling to discourage the infestation of vertebrate on property ravaged by their presence. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
