World Wilderness Congress

Don't ask me how I came upon this (the story is too long and not exciting), but I saw that Scotland held the 3rd World Wilderness Congress. Although it was held way back when Mrs. Thatcher was in charge, it was interesting to read about. The same meeting was held more recently in South Africa, and I was wondering how many of you have known about this sort of thing?
