| | | Re: Lapwing slaughter I've just sent my protest email too I couldn't bear to watch the video, such images haunt me forever more.
I've been boycotting French produce/products for many years now and embarrassingly, I can't even remember the reason why I've been doing this! Think it might have been something to do with apples?? |

| | | Re: Lapwing slaughter Its pretty distressing watching
Mind you I think its a bit harsh to boycott french produce when Ive seen people shooting at waders, woodcock and wildfowl over the last couple of weeks here in the UK. Cant being doing the populations here any favours... |

Lapwings are one of my favourite wading birds. They are wonderful and why people do this terrible thing to them or any creature is beyond me.
I will write. | I'm with you here Jules - I'm getting really sick and tired of it - is there not enough hurt and distress in this world by accident that folks also have to be deliberately cruel, excessive, debased, disgusting apologies for the human race - its makes me ashamed and embarrassed to be one ........ I'm still smarting from the news yesterday - the two puppies being held over a fire and kicked around like footballs by ?children - these arn't kids - they're demons and I'm sure they are so twisted that they would think being described as a demon as cool thing to be
Then we get that stupid hippy woman from ?Kidscape and the peice on kids in ?Sweden saying that these are children with problems and we shouldn't lock them up but treat them - the only thing we think fit for acts of violence is hanging - if that is the deterrant that would make more folk behave - then bring it back...... and in the meanwhile stop making films and television about twisted behaviour and drug taking and sleaze in general - there is enough hurt, illness, wars, lonelyness in this world without adding to it gratuitously .... and folk worry about aliens coming and what they might do to the human race ..........
I've got me coat on already so I had better go elsewhere for a bit as this is the second morning I've got into a rant ...........
