| | | Re: Enforce the Hunting Ban Hi squeek I appreciate your efforts on this but I dont think these pre written emails ever get taken seriously theres not much real thought or personal opinion in there, they get hundreds of letters exactly the same and they just go in the bin. I dont mean to sound like a pessimist but its one of those things where there are so many ways around it things will never change. also I wonder if the legislation was meant to stop it at all or just to keep the animal rights people quiet. |

| | | Re: Enforce the Hunting Ban IMHO since the ban on hunting there has been more! The hunt sometimes runs on the fields around me! They are supposed to only do 'drag hunting' but I have not seen this being done. |

| | | Re: Enforce the Hunting Ban There is a judgment coming up somewhere (can't remember where I read it now) to clarify the position on what is legal soon.
Good to try squeek.
It is possible to do things if you are suffering from trespass by the hunt (who usually include some of your neighbours after all).
Knowing what is possible and the law is quite handy. Info can be obtained from websites.
It is quite easy to make them avoid your property and it can become too much hassle for them especially as they are trying to keep obstensibly within the law and do not want bother. Although there was a certain amount of intimidation here for a while, but you have to stand up to them. They wouldn't like it if you went to their property and started running around the place. And their dogs - look up dog law too. And dog wardens.
The hunt is being forced into smaller areas here (poor foxes!) because of non landowner consent. This does work especially if people around you feel the same and you make a collective stand. |

| | | Re: Enforce the Hunting Ban I was reallt shocked when I saw a huge congregation in a village near to me the other morning.
I kind of wasn't suprised, but to actually drive by and see them all blatantly on a hunt when there is a ban.... I just found it really upsetting and shocking and rude.
-sigh-
