There is evidence to suggest a lot of this Chinese fur has been harvested by skinning animals while they're still alive. Does ebay intend to introduce a proper ethical policy on animal welfare, so that it only sells products from animals that have been farmed to UK welfare standards? I notice many sellers now actually state "Not from China!" when they advertise fur products, so a lot of your customers are aware of the situation.

If anyone has ever managed to get through to HQ, please let me know how you managed it.

I tried but didnt get a response. Worth another shot though. Ebay would have to ban all fur except vintage to adhere to our welfare Laws here as fur farming in Britain has been banned for years.
