Back to the petition. I would urge all WAB members to sign it. Glasgow, along with many other inner-city areas in our country, can be a very depressing and un-loving place for our children to live and grow up in. People living in urban surroundings NEED places to play as as a family and develop a friendship with nature with.

I have lived within a mile of Pollok Park for 35 years. It was voted Britains best park in 2007 and Europes best Park this year. It is a haven for all sorts of wildlife and a fantastic amenity for people from all walks of life.
It was left the people of glasgow . The idea of a part of it being for profit is abhorent , and in my opinion must be illegal
Theres a meeting on Tuesday night, unfortunately I'm working but Mrs omdi is attending and we will keep ye posted
