| | | Marine Reserves Now
This is a campaign rather close to my heart, and needs more support! The UK currently only has 1 protected marine reserve (Isle of Lundy), and it is estimated that approximately 20-30% of UK waters need to be protected in order to conserve the habitats and diversity of wildlife we have. We have a phenomenally rich coastline and underwater environment and it deserves protection.
Have a look at Marine Reserves Now for more info, and go to MCS - The Marine Conservation Society, the UK charity dedicated to protecting the marine environment and it's wildlife to sign the petition.
