Re: RSPB petition, help save our sealife.

The wildlife trust has been running a simliar campaign so I signed up to that. I hope it wont all go through and our fishman will argue but reluctantly agree before the EU says we cant stop the spanish/danish/other european countries from fishing there and were back to square one - But fingers crossed the reserves will happen

Re: RSPB petition, help save our sealife.

Done.

The Wildlife trusts are also running a "petition fish" scheme. I worked for a day with them on a marine day ...part of marine week for kids. They have huge plastic fish which have silver and gold "scales" stuck on ...individually. Each scale the kids ( and parents ) can write their name on and postcode...
When all the fish are fully scaled they will be collected up from the wildlife trusts accross the country and taken to london for a marine bill march thing before being handed to the government bods. It was lovely working with the kids and explaining why they were putting the scales on and what it will mean...their eyes lit up when hearing the words "London" and being shown to the "government!"...also amusingly the kids got the gyst of it quicker than the parents.
