On the south side of the Isle of Wight today, we watched a large amount of Red Admirals head out over the Channel. It's so amazing watching these brave little insects just heading out on a journey that may be full of peril.  
Could say I was full of Admiration!

Still a trail of them on their way out. Loading up with nectar from the autumn flowers here on the island then travelling south.
