Little Skipper or Essex?
Hi there,

Please can you help confirm an id? I think this is probably a little skipper but wanted to be sure its not an essex as the antennae seem dark?

My first impression is that this is an Essex, Kiristar. The undersides of the antennae look black.

Lovely shot. Do you have any others, or other individuals? I find males a lot easier to ID (PS I'm no expert).

I would agree with Deb that this is a female Essex Skipper.
