| | | I had been thinking this was a Brown Argus I took this picture at the beggining of June and i was so certain it was a Brown Argus however after reading another thread today and comparing pictures im thinking i may have got the id wrong. Would someone be wiling to put me straight either way please i would be very greatful. |

The same two Butterflies Top one is a Argus
Bottom is the Blue
only the underside confirms identity http://

This makes it a male Brown Argus I think.

Looks brown Argus to me too from my very amateurish view, with that black wing spot - though I have some pics in my Higgins and Riley butterfly guide to europe of mountain argus var montensis like that too.............from Scotland?
