Still struggling with Skippers - please

Is this a Large Skipper? It seems to have too much venation-type marking to be a Small Skipper, and yet doesn't seem to have 'chequerboard' pale and dark shading between the venation-type marks as described and shown in pictures of the Large Skipper? (Only got more or less one angle, sorry.)

The antennae of Essex and small skippers are different. I look for this.
(Scent brand also different)
