| | | Migrant butterflies I had my first painted lady of the year today here in gloucestershire.Locally a clouded yellow was reported.Anyone else getting any migrants yet ?
Only a few years back we were invaded with painted ladies,it seems very quiet on the buddlia in the garden though this year.
Had a great day today.
My first dark green fritillary
also
silver washed fritillary
White admiral
Red admiral
painted lady
comma
Large white
green viened white
gatekeeper
meadow brown
ringlet
small skipper
No blues today though,it must be between broods or it was too cloudy. |

| | | Re: Migrant butterflies One Painted Lady back in May, but recently there's been quite a lot of Red Admirals + Large Whites, a proportion of which may be migrants as well as a small number of Siver-Ys. |
