| | | A Peacock Variant? I had this Peacock butterfly in the South Lakes in April just gone. It seems to be missing the colours red and blue and takes on a brown appearance overhall, although there is just a touch of blue in the top right corner.
Has anyone else seen these and is it a particular variant? or do you think its just that its well worn
Cheers,
Bryan.

| | | Re: A Peacock Variant? I dont think this is a varient.it looks to me like a very old warn butterfly.as they get older their colour fades with wear and tear .the wings are very warn which shows its age . |
