If it's where I think it is, OK, Bricket Wood Common, no great secret and no harm done disclosing the location. The 2010 sighting of PE was a single individual made by one, maybe two, observers so to suggest a colony is a bit optimistic (imo). The place to look is around the sallows by the pond.

It has in recent years colonised one area of Bookham Common, but I'm not sure if it's still at Bricket as I haven't heard of any positive reports for some time. A real gem of a butterfly!

Counted 4 white admirals this afternoon in the local woods,managed to only get this shot of one that briefly landed on the ground!
