| | | Todays butterflies Went for a walk today to enjoy the rare sunshine and came upon these.
There were two commas.
I was lucky to get a photo of this one as my batteries were about to pack up (I was on the way home too).
I haven't seen the above before and I hope I am right in identifying it as a small copper. |

It is amazing how some of them manage to fly when their wings are badly damaged. |

| | | Re: Todays butterflies I had a Specked Wood on Saturday in the cold and wind, and 2 Red Admirals and a Comma on Sunday when it was warmer and sunnier. Also a Hornet and numerous bees on the Ivy flowers.
