Have seen quite a few around Bilbao + other parts of Spain.
Given that they are continously brooded with no diapause, like Painted Ladies, they are probably not going to self sustain in the UK unless under glass.
Quite a few were found some years back but Defra (at the time) sought to contain them as a potential threat to the horticulture trade. I don't think there have been many sightings since.

I've seen them in Portugal and Spain. I wouldn't mind if they did become established here, they are gorgeous little things.
