today was brightened up by a common blue!
even though they're common the blue seems very exotic and brightens up any british landscape...truly wonderful!!!!!!! |

| | | re: Butterfly of the Day its kinda a sub-thread, my butterfly of the day is the beutyfull red admeral, iv seen two today (whitch is rare around here) and when u do see them there more orange than red, but these two (possibly the same one) were red as blood |

| | | Butterflies today Lots of Brimstones reported today in Herts, I had two males in the garden 'clashing' at one point, and a small-ish Red Admiral went through too.
