I've just seen several Gatekeepers, a Speckled Wood and a Small White. I will be on the look out for others as it's a lovely day here.
Anyone else got a garden full of butterflies today?

A couple of days ago, a Speckled Wood ( quite common here), and a Red Admiral - not one I see everyday here!

Twelve species this afternoon.
Numerous peacocks and commas
small tortoiseshell and three red admiral
small and large whites
small and large skippers
three common blues and one holly blue
many gatekeepers and a couple of meadow brown.

I was out all day yesterday so don't know what was here, but this week in the evenings when I've got home I've had Small White, Comma, Peacock, Small Tortoiseshell, Gatekeeper, Meadow Brown + Holly Blue. |

Bumblebees yes, Honeybees no, Butterflies no, Moths few micro's. and a Hummingbird Hawk Moth (one sighting)

Large and small whites (lots of them)
Small tortoiseshell
Peacock
Gatekeeper
Speckled Wood
Ringlet
Small skipper
Common Blue (?)
Small Copper

Yesterday I saw Small Copper (new record) a fritillary species (prob Dark Green, again a new record), Large White, possibly Small White, Red Admiral, Gatekeeper and Holly Blue.

My garden is notorious for it's lack of butterflies! Even in the lovely weather yesterday I had 2 large whites and nothing else. The total for the entire year in my garden so far is 5 Large whites...
