Hello again Suzy,
I think your,e right with your guess.The reason I ask is, that there is a Kent Wild Life Trust reserve around the Sevenoaks area but I,m not sure of the location.I remember visiting a large lake some years ago so wondered if it was the same place,thus the enquiry.

maybe the one you visited was the kent wildlife trust reserve near sevenoaks, it has lakes & ponds there and is not that far from the town itself. I usually cycle from Sevenoaks rail station when i visit it

i saw the white admirals near where the Fackenden Down reserve is, which is also managed by the Kent Wildlife trust, Its on the kent downs and is another convenient one for me to visit as its only a short cycle from Shoreham rail station . I think the Kent branch of butterfly conservation do some work near there too
