| | | Butterfly abberations This is the most amazing year for butterfly abberations. I had four different silver washed fritillary abberations today and a couple of different white admirals too. Fabulous! |

I have seen numerous ringlets including some with no spots, where are you in the country as I have not seen any fritillary aberrations yet in Hampshire and I have been specifically looking amongst trying for the Emperor.
Regards

| | | Re: Butterfly abberations Interesting photos Susie. Valezina females are fairly regular in some populations, but I've never seen one like your last photo- smart insect. Good photos!
I'll be off to Bookham Common this Saturday, so will keep an eye out for any unusual forms, as this species is fairly common there. |

The incredible thing about my photos is that they were taken in the space of an hour yesterday morning. I'm not particularly the most observant of people but there are just huge numbers of abs about. |

I had the experience of a lifetime today.
I find I am now ignoring the PEs and looking specifically at the SWFs! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
