You did very well to get as many photos as you did, Za. Once they're on the wing and active it's the devil's own job to get a photograph of them as they rarely settle for long.

Thanks. That was taken at about 9.30 in the morning I think. It was already warm by then but later in the day they are far too active to take a shot until things cool down again in the evening.

With the rain and the general cool down overnight, it transformed the behaviour of them this morning and there were a few to be seen nectaring on the brambles and resting on the surrounding areas
