| |  Lulworth skipper?
Could this possibly be a Lulworth skipper in my garden today (Corfe Mullen, Dorset)?
Thanks for your help with this. The small arc of dots near the tip of the wing seem similar to the pics I've seen of the Lulworth. It was also a very small butterfly. Feeding on yellow wallflowers. Jane  |

Thought it was a bit strange, as, although we are in Dorset, we are a way from Lulworth, thanks for the ID. It was so small and didn't quite look like the normal skippers we have round here and it fooled me into thinking it could be something else. Jane |

Jane | I have heard of Lulworth Skipper before at Corfe Castle,though I'm not sure what the current status is,so it is around you.Identifying Skippers by size can sometimes be a bit tricky.It is well worth keeping an eye out for Lulworth Skipper in your area.  |

Unfortunately I'm not at Corfe Castle, I'm at Corfe Mullen - which is just outside of Poole. Lots of people confuse the two or thing they are near each other - but we are actually quite a long way from Lulworth and Corfe. Never mind, I'll keep looking out for skippers! Thanks again. Jane |
