What is it please?
I have no idea about names but this one is the first i have seen of its colour and being in a city centre area it intrigued me.
Can someone please enlighten me as to its name?

I put in the butterflies due to its wing formation (4 rather than 2) i know, im not exactly clued up

It is app 1 to 1 and 1/4 inch wing span.

He/She decided to have a rest from the wind on my window and as the camera was close by i decided to click one off.

It's a Cinnabar moth. I used to love racing their yellow/black stripey caterpillars when I was little so I know that one well!

When I was younger,I used to call them by a common name of Red Soldier.Still do..
