Red butterfly id please
Haven't seen one like this before. Found next to a small river and fields near Calderglen Country Park.

Can't see pictures but if red and black probably a day flying Burnet moth?

I followed the link to your pic, it's a Cinnabar moth which flies both day and night.

Agree, it's a Cinnabar- very striking moth with equally distinctive larvae.
