| | | Re: Scottish firsts of the year ? The first reported Butterfly on the Butterfly Conservation Highland Branch Website was a Small Tortoiseshell on North Uist on the 11th of February this year.
There have been a few other Highland sightings since then. I finally saw my first 2, a Small Tortoiseshell and a Peacock on Saturday on the Coignafearn estate west of Tomatin, and saw quite a few Small Torts in the Aviemore area yesterday. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
