| | | Unknown Japanese Butterfly Hi there,
I came across this Butterfly sometime ago and am unsure as to the species.
Would anybody happen to know?
Oh I must also say that it was seen in the mountains of Japan,
Sorry if that's thrown a spanner in the works but maybe we have something like this in Britain??
Thanks in advance for any replies |

| | | Re: Unknown Japanese Butterfly That's a Swallowtail butterfly, but since there are over 500 species, I personally wouldn't like to say which one this is.

| | | Re: Unknown Japanese Butterfly Thanks so much for the prompt replies everyone and much appreciate the identification of said lepidopteran.
Guess it's time I moved over to the other side then ie. WAB's sister site as so many people keep telling me, just don't wanna leave my roots behind, sever all connections with my beautiful native land. Waaaaaaaa
