Wall with extra spot?

Hello,

There have been a lot of Wall butterflies about the Yaverland cliffs this week, providing opportunity to watch them up close - scare one off and another is along shortly.

Does this female have an extra white dot outside of the black eye spot on the forewing? I'm looking at Collins How to Identify Butterflies and this spot isn't shown.

There is just one in the Gallery with an extra spot in the same position. Hopefully someome will be able to explain.

There are a number of aberrations known which involve extra white spots around the main eye spot - but this particular pattern isn't listed in any of my guides. The closest is a form described in which there's extra white dots above and below the eye spot - but that's normally associated with a double dot in the eye.
