Butterfly ID needed
Hi, I photographed this butterfly yesterday in a park in Somerset. I had a look through the Gallery here and didn't find anything that looked like it. Would you please help me ID it?

Looks like a Comma Butterfly - Polygonia c-album. Nice photo

I'll second that - Comma.

Is it on verbena? Another post talks about how good an insect attractor it is. I've been spreading seedlings around the garden ready for next year.

Apparently it is, on Verbena bonariensis. I just asked in the Plant section. It must have really liked it, it stayed there for quite a while, ;-)
