Poor year for skippers or not ?
It has just struck me how few skippers ive seen this year.ive seen the odd ones and two,s where i have seen many in other years.How are your skippers doing

I saw fairly average numbers of the 3 common species (Small, Large + Essex). A few Silver-spotted Skippers were a fab (dated word?) sight on Sunday + a friend said she'd seen many on Box Hill.

well I'm jealous of you - we don't get any skippers here - have to drive about 60 miles south before they start appearing.

ahh but heidfirst if i want to see an osprey,ive got to go alot further than 60 miles,so swings n roundabouts
