| | | Butterfly / moth ID, please Please could someone tell me what this butterfly/moth is? I apologise for not even knowing if it is a butterfly or a moth! To me, it looks butterfly shaped but it is unlike any butterflies I've seen before and I cannot locate it in my (basic) fieldguide or on google images.

I saw it at the end of July in the Dumfries and Galloway area of Scotland. |
