Common Blue or Adonis Blue?

I was in Dorset last week and this butterfly has me baffled. One day I think it's a Common Blue, the next an Adonis Blue.
Can anyone please confirm?

Male Common Blue; Adonis are really intense blue with a chequered margin.

Thanks. I thought it was, my hesitation was because I've never seen a Common Blue with such prominent edge markings. Just about all my shots show a continuous black band. That was my one area of slight doubt.
