Or is it just a common one? I'm only a mile or so away from a colony of SSBs, that's why I ask.

the common blue should have a black mark in the white mark visable on the hindwing i think but im still struggling on these blues myself .

Aeshna is right. It doesn't have any silver studs near the edge of the hindwing so I am afraid it isn't a silver studded blue. It is lovely a fresh though, a real beauty. |
