Looking at the underside of the wings I think this is a kind of Skipper but got lost there... can anyone help? 
Taken early July in the Cotswolds.

Taken early July in the Cotswolds. | Definitely Skippers but I can't say which one, Small Large or even Essex. Someone who is more knowledgeable may be able to give a definite reply. |

Pretty  The patchy wings suggest Large Skippers. The tips of the antennae aren't clear, but should be hook tipped in Large Skippers. |
