I saw several Scottish Argus butterflies today 25th August in a warm sunny wood sitting on heather near Burhead, Morayshire. In fact there were dozens of butterflies taking the warm sunshine including Peacock, Small Tortoiseshell, Painted Lady and others I did not know. Fantastic.
