What butterfly did I see

Visited Ebernoe Forest today and saw a butterfly I cannot id. Help would be appreciated. It was about the size of a fritillary (there were some nearby too), but the colour was completely different, not unlike a Marbled White, only darker. The distinctive feature was a green-blue body and green blue colour on the rear wings near the rear body. It was feeding on bramble. I could recognise the Comma, Peacock, White Admiral, Ringlet, and Silver Washed Fritillary nearby. But this odd one is not in my books.

Could it be the valezina form of Silver-washed Fritillary? It gives the females a greenish sheen over the wings.
