Unusual brown spotted butterfly
Looks like some kind of woodland butterfly. Taken in Somerford

Definitely a Ringlet, they have just started to appear up here and I know I will see them everywhere for the next few weeks.

Interesting record from Cheshire, not surprised you've not seen one before as they for some reason miss out a big chunk of NW England in their distribution. But they are spreading apparently so look out for more! I've only ever seen one.
