| | | 11 species While enjoying my lunchtime pint I noted 11 different butterfly species, mainly on a flowering bramble opposite with a large unkempt field behind.
Singles of:
Large White
Red Admiral
A Blue (Holly?)
Several of:
Meadow Brown
Large Skipper
Ringlet
Small White
Comma
Small Heath
Small Copper
Speckled Wood
Not a bad haul without moving a muscle! |

| | | Re: 11 species Pretty good going.  I saw 10 species at Insh Marshes RSPB reserve nature trail yesterday, and I'd seen them all within about 100 yards of the car. My list is as follows.
